I was looking at my bank account and noticed four (4) suspicious charges of $46.85 on my account from Apple Itunes. Since I do not have an Itunes account, I contacted my bank to report the fraudulent charges. They reversed the charges and closed my account after charging an overdraft fee and card replacement fee. There were several other attempts by someone using my card to purchase more Itunes after I had closed my account, so they never went through. I contacted Apple Itunes about the issue, but have never received a response and can never get hold of an actual person when I tried to call them. I've had to complete a police report and place a fraud alert on my credit score to salvage what I can. Identity theft is a huge pain and can ruin your credit score and take years to repair the damage. Apple Itunes needs to do a much better job making sure that the person charging songs to a credit card, is the actual card holder.
