Soren Jensen represented himself an a buyer of Georg Jensen silverware. Upon our deal of me sending him my silverware (retail value $12,000.00) in exchange for $4500 in which he would pay 1/2 down before receiving and the rest upon receipt. After receiving my silverware he stated that it was not as represented (I had sent good photos) and that several of the pieces were very damaged. He is located in New York and I am in Idaho so meeting him face to face wasn't going to happen.

He demanded his money back. After his check cleared I finally agreed to send it back when I received 1/2 of my silverware back. That happened. After receiving my check he sent the remainder, which, of course, was not what I sent him and was very damaged. Lesson learned I guess - no longer selling via the internet. I did contact Georg Jensen CO. in New York and they said they never did business with him - although his address is just doors down from theirs, so I thought he was afflidated with them and should have really checked him out further before going ahead with the transaction.
