won a coffee machine from ziinga.com for £11.17 inclusive of postage with a free bid they then asked for copies of bank details, passport, credit cards. on explaining i do not have a credit card only a debit card they said no problem. That was on 11feb. its now 16 march and got a bank statement this morning showing one transaction for the £11.17 and another for £59.99 so contacted ziinga online to ask what the £59.99 was for. GET THIS, they said its for the platinum contract that they said i agreed to when i won the coffee machine.EH??? i was never offered any such contract nor been informed of it or i would have cancelled. Today they then sent me a cancellation e-mail telling me i would get only £31.99 refund off the £59.99 and no coffee machine or refund for it. I have informed my bank not to release any funds for these extortionists and warn anybody else who is thinking of bidding on this site not to ever think of bidding and to stop now, they are crooks only after hard earned money. I can only describe this penny auction site as ONE GREAT BIG SCAM!!!
