You've seen those commercials, lots of money for gold, send in your jewelery and they send you a check. Well I sent in around $1000 worth of gold and was expecting at least 75% of that, I understand they need to make a profit. After I sent my gold in, they sent me a check for $89.

There is no way I can accept that offer, so I wanted my refund and sent back the check. I called them to follow up on my refund and they said my gold has already been processed, meaning I can never get them back. This Cash4gold.com is a total scam. Why would they melt down my jewelery when I specifically wanted a refund. The best they did was offer me more money for my troubles, guess how much, $164. What a slap to the face.

DO NOT SELL YOUR GOLD ONLINE, DO NOT USE CASH4GOLD.COM, GO TO YOUR LOCAL JEWELER AND SELL IT THERE.

Update: 06/07/2011

After searching online and posting this I realized that this scam has been going on for such a long time (pre 2008). I'm surprised they are still in business when so many people are unhappy with their services.
