My son signed a certified letter with the claim that I could be the recipient of a "Release of payout claim directive for over $527,623.00 and Exclusive Liquidation Shipment if I sent in a check for $163.90. I looked up Liquidation Exchange on the internet and saw all of the complaints which I suspected. i did not mail in my check to the address: Liquidation Exchange PO Box 220 Hackensack, NJ 07602-0220,,,,Only a few days ago, I was contacted by two men who instructed me to send to them $4,500.00 as a form of insurance coverage that was required for the package of $450,000.00 to be delivered. They represented the National Gaming Commission and on behalf of the American Dream Foundation, who had the money and would only issue such a large sum of money, that it was necessary that the insurance fee be paid. Also, the 1% or insurance premium being requested would be refunded upon delivery of the $450K...The two men that called were Brad Parker and Paul Earl and the insurance fee was to be sent to a Ron Shifley at 3214 Hickory Grove Lane, Pearland, TX 77584-8118. This suppose cash prize of $527,623K and the American Dream Foundation payout of $450K was too good to be true. I had entered a number of potential cash award contests and once when they kept requesting fees to cover expenses, etc, I dropped out. Now they are trying to use other methods to obtain more money...I have reported this to our local TV station which has a Call 3 investigative agency and I will add this to their portfolio....I have phone numbers of the fellows above if anyone wishes to further investigate the scam being perpetrated...
