I received a check from Levi Morgan for about 3.250 from Security State Bank. i contacted the bank, telling them I think it is a Fraud Check. They wrote back to me and confirming that.
Don't know what idiot would send a fraud check to somebody you don't even know? Well, they knew my name/address etc. ... scary

I, too, received a check from Levi Morgan, for $2300.00. Included was a piece of paper, with my name written in pen. I took it to the bank and asked about it, they advised me NOT to deposit it, and said that I would be receiving instructions within the next few days from the sender to somehow send money back. Bottom line, if you aren't expecting a $2300.00 check in the mail, you most likely won't get one from someone you don't know.
I'm waiting to see if these instructions come in the mail. There is no harm in cashing it, but above all do not spend a dime of the money untill it has completely cleared in your account (assuming the money ever showed up in the first place). -
