We saw an ad on craigslist about a three bedroom two bathroom home and the first offer was $650/mo but then the next week it went down because the so called owners say they wanted to quickly rent it out and trying to sell it took a lot of time. So my husband and i persued it. We have been looking for a home for about four months now and this seemed to be a good chance. The guy called us and said that he would send the keys and documents if we just paid the security deposit of $500. I was a little skeptical so i told him we would send half and when we got the documents send the other half. Now my husband,not thinking that there are people in the world like this, suggested that we go ahead and pay the other half after he sends the tracking number. We send the money and dont receive any documents or keys.
