Citizens Financial promised to assist me in re-structuring my mortgage with my current lender for a fee of $2500. I did the background checks on the company and talked with them numerous times before deciding to go with them. Their references even checked out. They were not able to assist me at all and promised a 100% refund if they were not able to assist, which I have the document. I was told they would be sending my refund check the 2nd week of February 2012. It's now the 9th of March and still not check. No calls have been answered and all emails have been returned. Where do you go from here?

- hi karen! i have been scammed by the same company,same people! we lost 2500.00 that we were in no position to lose! the BBB has sent me 3 messages with the last one stating they have tried several times to contact them with no luck so there is not much they can do except keep them on file! I have also filed complaints with the atty. general, u.s. mail,internet crime3,loan scams.org,local p.d., and local tv. I NOW WANT TO GO NATIONWIDE AS THEY HAVE STOLEN STRUGGLING HOMEOWNERS HARD-EARNED MONEY IN THE TENS OF THOUSANDS!! THEY MUST BE AT LEAST HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR GRAND THEFT OF SO MANY!! HOW ON EARTH CAN THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS?!! WE MUST NOT PUT THIS ON A BACK BURNER!! I MYSELF BORROWED THIS "LOAN MODIFICATION" MONEY TO HOPEFULLY GET A BREAK AS I WAS ASSURED I PRE-QUALIFIED WITH A 100% MONEY BACK GUARENTEE PAYABLE AFTER SEVERAL E-MAILS BY FEB 10TH 2012. WE WERE ALL TOLD OUR MONEY WOULD BE RETURNED BY THE 2ND WEEK IN FEB. BECAUSE THEY KNEW THEY WERE GOING TO BE ON THE RUN!!
