Received phone call. Told about a work at home position entering ads on internet
For vacation site with travelocity, vacation packages, and promoting the business.
My daughter had cancer and I am retired and was looking for added income to help with expenses. Told Them I didn't have money to pay for a lot of adertising. I was given supposedly free ad sites (these were free, but you could not post links to your ad to send them to your website unless you paid. My back office site showed I received one call with not interested. Up front I scrounged together $199.00 for this privilege and three websites domains for $32.33. They asked for $99.00 to upgrade me with extra help. Yesterday they took out $49.95 for the monthly charge for maintaining the three websites. They have two credit card numbers and I was asked to fill out and fax back a W-9 which has my social
security number on it which is Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification. Now What Do I do? If these people are this unscrupulous, they can sell my Social Security Number to someone who can take my identity and keep charging on my Credit cards. I have not been able to reach them at their numbers so I can tell them I am not going to be doing this anymore. They want me to contact them on there email site to tell them if I have a problem.
