I received an email from Ziinga.com informing me I had won an iPod Shuffle 2gb

On entering the site I was asked to register and make a bid by loading money onto my account.

I won the auction and was then asked to pay for the shipping as well as pay for the item.

I waited until March 6th and received nothing. I then called Ziinga Customer services and was informed by a young lady that I had not snet in copies of my passport drivers lisence and front and pack of my credit card for verification. So the product has not been sent out.

I pointed out that I have no passport and I don't drive. They repy back shocked me as I was tols in that case Ziinga can not confirm my ID and can't ship to me.

I then requested a full refund and was told that I could not get the refund back on the delivery, which was £7.54 but I could get .44p back for the product.

I asked for a supervisor and after a 10 minute wait I was put into Rebecca who surpisingly sounded like the first person I spoke to.

I was told the details are in their t&c's and that they are withing their right to keep the money and the product.

I'm sure t&c's should only apply if a product has been shipped and to keep shipping when nothing has even left the warehouse or wherever it comes from sounds like a big scam to me.

Funnily enough though Rebecca would not answer a straight question which was are you saying you will not refung the full amount £7.98 and also keeping the product. A simple yes or no answer was met with can I qualify this with a long winded answer.

Then when I asked for verification in writing I was told someone will write to me within 24 hours.

I hope they do.
