This used to be a reputable service just a couple years ago. The fees were reasonable and I would submit my check and paperwork and always had my title work returned within a couple weeks. Now is a different story. The fees have gone up about four times what they were. I sent in $275 last November to get an old motorcycle title. It's been 5 months now and I have nothing to show for it. I was told the papers were delayed because of the holidays. I've asked for my money back and most of the time my emails go unanswered. It appears this guy is just cashing the checks and keeping the money. I've filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, The Postal Inspectors, and the FBI. There are hundreds of complaints with the Better Business Bureau for the same thing. You can even find videos on You Tube about it. Do not use this service.

  • After hundreds of emails with no reply, unanswered phone calls, and a registered letter threatening a lawsuit, out of the blue I get an email from Joe on August 5, 2012 saying my paper work and plate was in the mail. I would have bet the farm this was another lie but 1 day shy of 10 months from the date I sent my check I received my plate and paperwork in the mail. It was an Alabama plate and registration. The paperwork I originally submitted was for the state of Vermont so something must have gone wrong with that deal and Joe had to go with plan B. I suppose that is what took so long. He should have told me this rather than make up some false excuse. In any event I did get my stuff but I will never use his service again. It is not the reputable service it once was and since this ordeal I found I can send to Vermont myself for an old motorcycle title legally for about 1/3 of what Joe Holmes charges and I'll get a registration back in a couple weeks in my name which I can file with my own DMV and get a title back from my home state. You can download the application from the Vermont DMV website. Call them on the phone and get the correct fees to send in. They were very helpful. I would not recommend International Title Service to anyone. He has a F rating with the BBB and hundreds of complaints.
