Noticed a charge in my statements for 39.95, and immediately Google'd them to find out any customer service information. Sent an e-mail immediately to let them know that I had no idea what I was being billed for, and would like the charges reversed since I had no idea what was being ordered with my credit card.

Waited a few weeks, saw no credit from the same company, so I went with the 'live support' link.

Sherry: Thank you for contacting our 24/7 online chat support. I will be happy to assist you with your concern, but first allow me to pull up your record.
Sherry: May I please have three of the following criteria so that I can retrieve your record:
Sherry: 1) Subscription ID,
Sherry: 2) Email Address,
Sherry: 3) User name
Sherry: 4)Name of the Merchant or Company that billed you and
Sherry: 5)The last 6-digits of your credit card.

(gave them the information)

Sherry: Ok Thank you, could you hold a second while I locate the account please?
Yes I can
Sherry: Thank you!!
Sherry: Is your name <my name>
Yes it is.
Sherry: Could you hold a second while I check the accounts?
Yes I can...
Sherry: My system is showing me you have a trial account on www.Bad Boy DVDs.com for 1 dollar
Sherry: But in this moment is canceled
Sherry: how may I assist you!
Okay, this is the second charge that I've had to deal with this company today, that I don't show a 1 dollar charge from when I look at my billing statement on my credit card. I don't know how they're getting my information, but I would like the 39.95 that they charged me credited back to my account.
(there was another charge from psolvedsupport.com that I tried to deal with before this one that suspiciously had the same kind of interface before I started working with this)
Two charges from different companies appearing on my credit card, but both linking to the same trial account.
Sherry: Sir I am telling you what I have on my system
Sherry: in this moment everything has been canceled
Sherry: and you will not receive more charges
Will the charges that were already done be credited back, considering that i have no charge from a trial account, or any e-mails saying that I have a trial account?
Sherry: not sir, because this was a trial and it was not cancel on time, The only possible was the cancellation, and block future charges to this credit card and this name from our database.
Sherry: Is your name Clive Freeman?
Sherry: It was a mistake
Okay, then I guess I'll have to report this as fraud, as I have no email about the trial account, I have no billing to my credit card in the amount of 1 dollar for the trial account, and I can't access my account information on the aforementioned customer support sites when I put in my email address and the last four digits of my credit card number, and yet you're able to link my credit card to a website which I can't even access.
Sherry: Sir, May I have the name of the company that billed you please
Chat session has been terminated by the site operator.

And that brings me here.
