They began contacting my girlfriend around 2/25/2012 about a personal loan. At first, the woman (Natalie Wittle) claimed to be able to provide us with a $5,000 personal loan with a seemingly low 7.8% interest rate. Sounded reasonable enough, but I was skeptical about it from the start. It seemed to good to be true, especially for people with not exactly the best credit. It was also disturbing that a "global company" as it was being claimed, had email problems when asked to send us the documents via email.

So several phone calls later, my girlfriend manages to get them to EMAIL the documents to us. The documents made it all sound exactly the same way the "representative" made it sound on the phone, but I was still worried.

Fast forward to the 28th or so and now the woman was telling my girlfriend that we would NEED to buy insurance to guarantee the loan would be paid back and that said insurance would cost $590 on the total of the loan, which needed to be paid in advance instead of being taken off of the loan. That alone raised more red flags for me.

So, get the paperwork and read it over. Almost reads like a legitimate contract, but lots of odd wording and barely legal sub-contexts which made almost no sense. Girlfriend fills it out (she wanted to loan, so she was handling it) and attempts to call back to Presario Financial Services (in Kingston Jamaica, no less) and to her shock, the number is now saying it cannot be completed as dialed!

I hated to have to do it, but I said to my girlfriend: "I told you so."

Luckily, they never got any banking or other important information and never received a penny from us.

Just be aware that this company is a sham and is only trying to take your money from you $590 at a time.
