I answered an advertisement for a "genuine opportunity" of the "best guaranteed independent homemailer program in North America". It also states that "if I am dissatisfied with the gomemailer program and your guide for any reason, I may return both in reusable condition within 30 days for a full refund of my one-time returnable deposit - no questions asked!". I sent in my payment, received the packet, was completely dissatisfied with the scam and returned the booklet for my refund. It has been 10 months and I have heard nothing from this racketeer. The work it advertised was just getting suckers like me to buy the same booklet I was sent. The phone number it listed is inaccesible and the company is in New Haven, CT so I can't knock on their door. It is not a lot of money, but it is enough to irritate me to this remedy.

- I answered an ad in a newspaper classified section. I honestly wanted a genuine chance to work at home, stuffing envelopes, addressing and sending same. There is no employment; just double talk telling you to do the same thing to someone else. I checked out a few more ads like this one, finding the only difference is the wording and amount they charge people for this worthless booklet. If it is not illegal, it sure should be. That said, I would have been satisfied if I had gotten my refund promptly, or at all!!! If it was anywhere on the west coast, I would have gone there personally and given the owner a piece of my mind.
