I went to their store with my measurements of my bathroom space
in order to buy a washer and dryer and the salesman Guy Clairoux measured the tops of the items and told me that they would fit in my room, so I bought them. When they were delivered I found that they wouldn't fit because there were projections in the back and front of the machines which he didn't measure. If I left them like that I wouldn't be able to put back the door to the bathroom!
I have been phoning them constantly since then without being able to speak to anyone, so I went back to the store and talked to the salesman and asked him for a smaller set which would fit (other than the one piece condo set, which was very small) and he said the machines were all the same size in depth. And he was very rude as well. I went home and decided to phone the manager and got the runaround for days, and finally spoke to "Pascal", who said he was the boss. He told me that they wouldn't accept a return unless I exchanged them for another set (which is out of the question because they are all the same depth) and paid a penalty of 15% and a delivery charge of $75.00 because he would have to put them in the liquidation center because they were not in boxes and people would not accept them! I told him that when I went out to the truck to talk to the delivery men, the appliances were sitting on the curb without boxes, and he said they had taken the boxes off in the truck. If that was so, then other people wouldn't see the boxes either. I thought that the rule was a ten day refund policy on
everything except when there was a "no refunds" stamped on the bill, which I don't have on mine.
What can I do about this? I am a pensioner and have to watch every penny.
I will never deal with them again because they are dishonest and unreliable, and I will tell everyone I know that they scam artists!
