I put my time-share in Orlando for sale and a couple from England wanted to rent it for their honeymoon. After weeks of exchanging information they sent a check for 2000.00 more than I asked for the week. Immediately she e-mailed me to tell me her accountant had made a mistake and mailed me their airline money. She asked me to send her back $1800.00. The bank put a hold on the check for one day to see if it cleared. The next day I went to the bank and asked if the check had cleared and was told "yes mame" the money is in your account, so I took out eighteen hundred dollars and went to Western Union where I mailed her the money!
Five days later the bank informed me that the check was no good!
They take NO RESPONSIBLITY and I am left to pay the bank back all that money plus another thousand dollars in returned checks, not to mention the returned check fees!
