I signed up with Hughes net for satelite service with them on approx 12/21/2011. Talking on phone they told me I would have 7,000GB's a month. What they didn't tell me that the 7,000 per mth would be broken down to 250GB's a day. Also, for prior weeks and weeks after they advertized on TV and internet installation woud be free. Then they charged me $199.00 for installation. Then they proceeded to charge me $199.99 for installation, which I haven't been able to get back from them.

I used the service 1 1/2 days, at which time I ran ouf "time", meaning I had used my allotted time for the day and I would have to wait 18 hrs to use my computer again! Called them to no avail, went to my credit union and filled out papers for the visa card to get money back. To this date I have heard nothing from them. There has to be a way to get my money back. I't hard enough for senior citizens to live these days without a company playing a con game.

I did get back the purchase fee of equipment, but I'm still waiting for installation fee which was supposed to be free.
