Macys advertised Bernardt sofas as "LEATHER", I purchased 2. I have the original advertisement. These sofas were not real leather,they were bonded/blended pieces of scrapes that are glued together using a denim material as a foundation and topped with a polyurethane coating. Other retailers do advertise the correct material used and do not mislead the consumer into paying higher prices for bonded/blended furn by promoting it as leather furn. ....Both of my sofas are peeling in large strips. I'm 72 yrs. old, live alone,these sofas were hardly used. BUYER BEWARE
