On 1-24-12, I went to Auto Mart, 4107 Rivers Avenue, to purchase a 1998 Mercury Sable LS which I was told had no major issues and was in "terrific" condition. The owner guaranteed if I found anything wrong with the vehicle, I had 5 days to exchange it or get a full refund. I returned the very next morning with my mechanic and a list of problems wrong with the car, including: power steering leak, coolant leak (inside vehicle), no heat, shaky engine, and a slipping transmission (which jerks upon excelaration and sometimes sticks). I was promised that these issues would be repaired and that there was no need to worry. Two days later, I dropped my vehicle off to be serviced. I picked it up at closing and drove it home. When I got back in my vehicle the next day, I noticed that there still was no heat, the coolant smell was now stronger-to the point of causing an itchy throat and coughing, the vehicle was now jerking more often, and there was smoke coming from under my hood. I pulled into Gerald's tires and a few of the technicians told me to pop my hood. They noticed that I now had an oil leak and that was creating the "burn off smoke." I immediately called the dealership and told the owner, Mr. H. Valipow, what was going on and that the only thing that had been fixed was the power steering fluid was no longer leaking. He told me "My mechanic didn't do that. I can't fix every little thing that's wrong with the car. I can't help you." It hasn't even been a month yet and I am having to purchase atleast one quart of oil every two days, because it is leaking out on my driveway just that quickly. My 11 year old son is now on albuterol inhalors 4 times daily and cannot be in the vehicle too long, doctor's orders, because of the fumes that are coming inside of the car, we're limited on where we can go because of fear that the transmission will completly slip while we're in traffic, and on cold mornings we have to wear multiple layers of clothes and coats, just so we will have some sort of warmth in the car. The only reason I kept the car was because of the guarantees and promises of Mr. H. Valipow. I had no idea that purchasing this vehicle, as a single mother struggling with two growing boys, would be not only a financial handicap, but a health risk. I have multiple witnesses that will attest to the promises of Mr. H. Valipow. I only want what I am owed...the full refund of my purchase.
