  • I have a few questions.

Firstly, I would like to say I have been a victim of three scams.

    1) The first one was opening an account with a stock company for 5,000 US Dollars

    2) The second time I sent them a further 33K

    3) however, the biggest scam of all was losing over FIFTY K via a similiar website/complaints page such as this.

I responded giving all my details and was told that my money could be retrieved but I ahd to pay legal fees. After doing so, I was told the money had been recovered BUT I needed to pay taxes and other legal fees.

    And then the company disappeared.

What strikes me so strange about this complaint is that

    A) You have not stated how much YOU lost. Did you lose anything?

    B) You are not using your name. OK, we all use handles but if you has lost money you would want the company to know you were seeking revenge and justice of sorts.

    c) This website claims to be able to get money back for clients via class actions. How can you do this if you cannot trace the company?

    D) Unless you ahd inside knowledge, eg you are an ex.employee, or have access via a current employee to the companies name and details, how do you know THIS company is related to all these others?

    E) Please explain how muc you lost? How you know the companies are related and also why there are no users likeing your post. This indicates that no client seems to have lost money.

    F) If you are not a client please tell us how you got this info.

    G) My final point is I believe you are a fraudulent website claiming to be able to help clients who were ripped off but are simply getting their details in order to extract more cash out of them like what happened to me before.

I look forward to your reply,

    Kurtis

  • This is known as an advance fee scam. Please note, this website, www.scamhunter.com is a scam itself tricking clients who are with both legitimate and fraudulent companies into parting with their hard earned cash.

How they do it is you provide them with ALL or as many details as possible about your investment and then they use this info to say they have identified it etc.

Then, they simply use the info against you claiming to be informed about the whereabouts of the company your dealing with.

I have checked out Goldwater Global and they appear to be registered. Legitimate. And have no complaints against them, except this whatsoever.

Please report this page as soon as possible to the authorities.

    Thank you,

    K

  • one final question, when did www.scambook.com begin, ie how old is your website?

Who is the person/people behind it?

Imeant www.scambook.com, this website is an advance fee scam, probably based in s.e asia.

Also, if this company, Goldwater, was so bad, how come there is not one other complaint and the only one does not state how much money he or she lost? It just does not appear to be real. Surely, there would be more people making a point here and saying: yes i lost money too. And how does this person connect them with other companies? I smell a rat with scambook. Please be careful wit this page.

  • Hi Cynical1
Whilst most scam retrevial sites are scams themselves it is, beleive it or not, the best method for getting a listing placed in google that goes top page in the searches. This changes the creditability againt the claim I know, but it makes people stop and think about the company in question. That is why I have placed it here.

Now to Goldwater. You can't beat history. History states that these guys have not been around for more than 2 months. Yet claims are "been in the industry 45 years". I don't know what makes you think they are ligitimate but I would be interested to know so I can describe their flaws.

  • So this is a misleading website making fake claims to retrieve clients money or a straight scam trying to steal some money after initially losing some?

What is your motivation? It appears you have NOT lost any money nor has anyone. Is this correct?

I do not know how long THIS company have been in business but YOUR site appears to have posted this within the last 14 days or so. Why are YOU doing this?

This is why I am cynical. No one does anything really without personal gratifiation and a vested interest I believe.

Please educate me as I do not know whether you are simply a thief or a liar?

My point was this site is eerily similiar to Global Investor Alert which stole money from me. Are you the same group scanhunter and whats your real name?

    Thanks

Don't get me confused with the owners of this site. I do not belong or are associated to them. Just like yourself I am a poster.

I have had personal experience with Gerstien and Max. I am aware of Global Investor Alerts and was disapointed to find out it was a scam as well. It has me now trusting no one! Was I feeding information about the scammers to the scammers??

  • The way this Goldwater Global Management works and it's offspins is like most investments you have to wait for a return...While you are waiting you are shown confidence that you are making money with their fake trading site. When the time comes to removing money around 2 months has passed and the site/end users close down and you are left with nothing!!

  • Translation from German web site:
Goldwater Global Management, that claims established in the brave laan in Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe, Belgium comprises about authorisation as an investment firm, however, and should therefore not provide investment services in or from Belgium. That reports the FSMA Tuesday in a press release.

The FSMA therefore recommends not going into financial services offers Global Management and to Goldwater not to deposit money into an account number that the company would give up.

The FSMA warns Tuesday also for the activities of the ' Belgian Financial Services Agency ' and the ' Belgian Commodities and Futures Exchange, "which falsely claim a Belgian financial supervisor and a Belgian investment platform.

These settings seem to be used in accordance with the FSMA as a cover to give the impression that investments are offered to the public, by persons who do not have the required permit, be serious

    D) WHY HAVE YOU CHOSEN THIS SITE AS OPPOSED TO OTHERS? ARE YOU PART OF THIS SET UP?

    E) DO YOU ADMIT THAT THIS IS AN ADVANCED FEE-PAYING SCAM DESIGNED TO SCARE INVESTORS INTO GOLDWATER AND OTHERS THAT THEY HAVE LOST MONEY AND THEN YOU ASSURE THEM YOU CAN RETRIEVE THEIR INVESTMENT ON THE BASIS THEY PAY YOU TO DO SO?

    F) ARE YOU AN EX-EMPLOYEE OF ANY OF THE COMPANIES YOU MENTIONED? I ASK BECAUSE GOLDWATER AND DAFAUX ET AL MAYBE LEGITIMATE COMPANIES BUT YOU HAVE A GRUDGE AGAINST THEM, EG YOU WERE NOT VERY GOOD AT YOUR JOB AND THEY FIRED YOU?

If you can't be bothered to do a little bit of investigative work I don't know what else to say.

The link below demonstrates Goldwater Global are not "real" and verifies that they are not legitimate. Actually have a look instead of ranting and raving!

I have been following this scam for 12 months almost, as my Brother in Law got taken for $10000. I simply try to bring them down every time they reappear as someone else. It's really not hard to find them once they pop up again. The quicker I respond and post on sites like this the quicker I might be able to stop people from loosing money to them. I'm not claiming to get anyones money back, just trying to stop them loosing it.

Again have a look at the below link or do a google search on the name and that link will come up. They are an authoritive finance body within europe. Flame them for not telling the truth and see what they say. You might get somewhere if you were not blinded with rage and see what I am saying is true....
