I ordered a Bennotti Espresso/Cappuccino Maker from Sears.
I got the coffee pot w/o any problems. Come to find out there are not any coffee pot pods sold except through the company for this coffee pot. Nedless to say the coffee pot was useless to me w/o the coffee.
I called the company which I found on line and asked about this. I was told that the only way to get the necessary pods was thru them. I then ordered $49.90 worth of coffee pods which I was to received in a few days. No coffee ever came. During that time I called the company several times and spoke with Alex 212 480 2181 and was given another lame excuse each time I called. No coffee ever received and I asked for my money back. At that time I spoke with Victoria Collins at the same number. She said she was taken aback by the lack of customer service and would look into this. We after a whilel I called her back and guess what, she started giving me the same lame excuses. Now she said I have to wait at least 6 weeks for a return. I don't believe her and this is another stall. I returned to coffee pot to Sears w/o any problems and told them about this situation as well. Nothing has been done at all about anything. I know it's not a lot of money but I hate to be made a fool of. IF there is anything you can do I would really appreciate it. The "Order by Mail" address is Bennotti Inc, PO Box 13184, Birdgeport, Ct. 06673. ANother puzzle is I believe the area code of 212 is New York.
