I got a call from somebody claiming to be from Microsoft saying that my computer is running slow. A one time payment of $335 would cover me with Norton antivirus for 7 years. It also included 7 years of 24/7 access to Microsoft customer service.
He wanted me to use Western Union to send him the $335 to (first name) Om (last name) Prakash. Country: India. He had an Indian accent.
He is going to call me at 10:00 tomorrow morning to complete the deal. I was foolish enough to give him access to my computer so he could take control and set things up. I am going to change all my passwords. I already took care of my bank account.
