I was trying to access Facebook but I accidentally typed a few wrong letters into the url. It took me to a survey asking me to answer three simple questions and then I would be able to choose from three different offers. I complied and chose a $1000 WalMart gift card. They went on to ask me to select two items to sign up for on more than five different pages to receive my $1000 gift card. A few of the offers I signed up for required billing information so I entered my debit card information thinking this was a secure site because they offered things from Netflix and other respectable companies. Some of the offers needed a $4.95 start up fee or something of that nature. I did as they asked and at the end of all that they asked for my email address and I was told I would receive an email directly about when I would receive my $1000 gift card in the mail. I waited and waited and waited and nothing came through. I started to worry but then things got busy and I eventually forgot about the whole thing. A few days ago I tried using my debit card at a store and was told that it was denied. I knew I had over one hundred dollars in my account. I called my bank and found out that a company I had never heard of, Valu-Pass, had taken over $99 out of my account. I have tried to call the toll free number that the bank gave me but it said that the call did not go through. If anyone knows anything about how to contact this company please respond!! This is a nightmare D:<
