I clicked on to a site (I can't recall the name exactly ... something like: "Grab$----") that promised low price items for sale in an on line auction. I was told to complete a form to start bidding on the advertised items. This form asked for my credit card information as well as my e-mail address. Because the site listed several "secure site" labels, I thought the site was safe and filled out the form. I then clicked on "Start Bidding". The next page thanked me for making a purchase of $99.60 and that I now was eligible for bidding on 42 items. As it was not my understanding that I was purchasing anything I clicked back to the previous page which had the same form which was asking for another $99.60. I now could not get back to the page that thanked me for the "purchase". No further information was available on the site except for more offers of bids for $99.60. I checked my e-mail to see if there was any acknowledgement of the $99.60 --- nothing! I then realized I had been scammed. I called my bank, Chase, and found out a charge for the amount was pending from Computer Networking & Information Services. I was told I had to wait until the money was transferred before challenging the transaction. In the meantime I have placed an immediate stop on my card.

Thanks for any help you can give me int this matter
