This company owned by Ben Newman has committed timber theft from our property! They had logging project on the adjacent property to ours and and he asked for permission to use an easement road across our property and had my parents sign a one page form so we did. Now we've discovered that he has taken over 50+ over sized Douglas Fir trees and 20+ Pine Trees without permission, a contract and without a valid permit. He said he moved the logs off our property to the neighbors property. We asked a forestry manager to come take a look and our Fir Trees are no where to be found and they are gone all together. We have a stump cruiser coming to do a timber value appraisal. There is an active criminal investigation and he now has a "No Trespass" order on our property. Our property has been devastated because of him and he has fell and skidded trees within 20 feet of 2 ground ponds on our property that feeds into an artisan well system that is spring fed. He sold our timber to a mill under the neighbors permit and contract because he had none of these for our property and the mill requires both document to be submitted for purchase. He did this to my mother who is disable and has limited mobility and my dad who has terminal bone cancer under hospice care. I had discovered what he had done while visiting my parents from out of state. He thought he was going to get away with stealing from them because they're unable to walk the property and they are vulnerable. He has continually lied about her tree's are now because they're gone! My mom cried when she found out what happened and my dad is deeply saddened by this happening. Please don't do business with this company because they have no respect for private property and more so he stole from the sick and elderly with no regard at all.
