I booked a ticket for my husband, they asked for money to be put into a bank account, which we did. Once we did that they sent through a receipt but no ticket when we phoned them they said that the reservation made had now changed and they would need extra £100 of us, to which we disagreed and then thats where all the nastiness started. When I asked for a refund they first said that due to the airline charges they would have to deduct £100, I did not agree with that because I had already checked with the airline whether a booking had been made in my husbands name which it hadnt, all of a sudden too their names changed too to John, Jason, Sean, Craig etc, (I think not). I managed to get £360 back after many phonecalls, then when I asked for my extra £100 they stuck with their airline story, finally I spoke to a guy call Ahmar who claimed to be a worker but was later told he is the boss, he did say he would give me all my money back, after which every time I asked to speak to him I was told he was not there. After many more phone calls I managed to get another £60 back but they still refuse to give £40 now giving the reason of admin charges and the time they spent on my phonecalls. I should be the one charging for all that. Anyway I gave them plenty of opportunity to pay up and after their sheer rudeness, fraudulent attitudes I have deicided to go further now. I was suprised to come across this website and have noticed they are professional in ripping people off, the posting from anonymous sesms like from one of them too. When I asked for a copy of my booking reference to the airline they still have not provided me with anything. Also when I asked for their ATOL, UK ABTA, IATA numbers the guy calling himself Jason said they could not give me that information but when you look on the real agent website these numbers are there and also you can find them on all the relevant websites too by using their search facilities. Emaan Travel is NOT a member of any of these as far as I can tell. I contacted ATOL and they told me they were not members and I should write to the CAA on [email protected] on and also Hounslow Trading Standards department on [email protected], IATA and UK ABTA should also be informed and also BBC Watchdog on [email protected] and the police too. I believe the more people that report them the better chances of everyone getting their money back and compensation for all the trouble that they have caused. In all my years I have never come across such a bunch of scammers. Honest people work hard for their cash and certainly not for the likes of these fraud masters to fleece their pockets. By the way they claim to be an off shore company, where infact they are based at Vista Office Centre, 50 Salisbury Road, Hounslow, Middlesex, TW46JQ. Other names associated with this company are Muhammad Fahad Iqbal, Chaudhry Jahangir Hussain (Owner), S I Khan (Director),Umar, Ahmar. Their own website is http://www.emaantravel.com/
Even though they returned the majority of my money, the way they handled everything and made me basically beg was absolutely disgusting. Their overall attitudes were transparent and fake, it`s amazing how they turned once they got the money paid to them. I too agree with another post and believe the UK Border Agency should be informed just so they can do their own investigations. These sort of people are vermin and a disgrace to our society and should be dealt with in every which way they can. I will not be dealing with them again and will certainly be putting the word around to people I know. Also when phoning them it is advisable to log all calls and if you can record them too because hopefully this will be evidence against them.
