I needed an address and mail box and thought the Regus solution could work for a small company that I was running. I signed up for a virtual office online and paid by credit card. Regus failed to process the transaction and so I called several times to fix the problem. Each time I called, I would be directed to a different department and I was even told that the service was paid and everything was in order, only to get another notice that is was not and I would repeat the cycle explaining to them that they had a major communication issue. They would apologize and assure me that my account was in good standing only for the same thing to happen all over again. After about 30 days of trying to work this out, I decided to find a different solution that was not going to cause me grief and take up my time and energy. I called them and told them that they did not process my account properly and that I had attempted to resolve the problem and now I was going to move on, to which they seemed confused and said they were sorry and that they would look into the problem. I never heard back from anyone. Then about 60 days later I get a call from their collections department asking for $1000 because I “defaulted” on the “contract”. I spent an hour on the phone with the lady explaining my trouble with the company and her response was "you signed so pay". They took no accountability for being so unorganized that they could not figure out how to charge me even though I called them several times (at least 6 times) to handle the payment. I spoke to their internal people in collections and asked them to consider the circumstances and they said they would call me back. I never heard back and now they have turned me over to a collection agency who calls me every day. Regus is a case where being utterly inept organizationally, has manifested into a scam.
