I had applied for a job over the internet a few months ago. I did not have any response from the application. A couple weeks ago I received a phone call to see if I was still interested in the job. I was on my way out the door t pick up my daughter. I didn't have time to talk to the woman who went by the name of Ester. The following Saturday, Ester called me on the phone. I spoke to her at length about the job. After getting the available particulars, She instructed me to purchase a GREEN DOTcard which I did. I was told that there was a fee of 149.00 dollars to process a background check before any further steps could be taken. The first card I bought was the wrong one. When I purchased the second one, I called her and gave her the number on the back of the card. that money was deducted from the amount I had credited onto the card. The total was originally 149.00 but she changed the amount. I was informed that I would be contacted when they were informed of the outcome of the background check. That was over a week ago. I became rather anxious as to the outcome so I called the number I had been using to get in touch with the company which ic1-866-945-1113 the extension number was# 1 After a multitude of phone calls, I am still getting the same message" This number has been temporarily disabled" I called the customer number on the back of the money pack card and spoke to a gentleman that informed me that they could not divulge the information of the person or company that actually withdrew the amount on the card.I am now going to have to file a Police report with my local p.d. so I can find out where the 140.00 went . I realize that this a small amount of money, But I am in a severe financial crunch and this right now is a small fortune.
