I heard an ad on a radio station about a research program to track what you spend on groceries and as part of doing the program you would get $1,000 in grocery savings. I might add it also said you could use these savings on whatever you wanted (implying they were not specific item/brand coupons). When I called and found out it was $19.95 I became skeptical but was assured it was a one time fee, this was a ligit program, blah, blah, blah. He also said I could get $15 back from Freeshipping.com by doing a trial program with them. Against my better judgement, I gave them my info. The guy then went on trying to get me to sign up for all this other stuff saying they were free trials and I could always call and cancel them but it was really "recommended" that I signed up for them too. After the second one I told him I was no longer comfortable with this many "companies" I had never heard of having my information. In the end it was a pain to cancel the other "free trial" programs and I did get charged on those well BEFORE then end of the trial program which I was told would not happen, but they did refund my money eventually... not with out a lot of hassling first. And I somehow did not even get signed up for the freeshipping.com offer and did not get "reimbursed" the $15. In the end I suppose the only money I really lost was the $19.95 because all of their "free" printable coupons are available on other actually FREE sites such as coupons.com. It is not a research program as far as I can tell, I don't see how you could possibly ever save $1,000 on whatever you want, and they charge you for things you can get free elsewhere so yeah it is a SCAM do not call!!! The commercial is very misleading and enticing!
