I inquired on a Charlotte, NC Craigslist ad for a elliptical machine for sale. After several days, I received an email from a Phillip White (phone- 205-500-9714) with a link to HalfPriceBazaar.com where there were deeply discounted items for sale. The website looked professional and you can add items to your cart. When you are ready to check out you were asked to register your name and address to start an account. Payment must be made with a green dot moneypak and they will ship item from their Birmingham, AL warehouse. I looked up all the Phillip White's in the Birmingham phone book and found only one with a working phone number. When I called the number and asked about Phillip White and HalfPriceBaZaar, the women that answered said that they had responded to an ad last week and that the gentlemen was now using her husbands identity.
