I paid a deposit for a car - they rushed through finance even though they new I couldn't afford the loan payments then refused to give my deposit back. No cooling off period offered and they never mentioned that the deposit was non-refundable. the Dept of Fair Trading in Queensland is useless - can't do anything to help.
