This vendor sells an interesting looking product, a handsfree adapter that can be used with any cell or wireless phone. They advertise them for $10 + S&H for 2. Unfortunately, you can't order them that way. The base order is for 4, with double S&H ($16 vs. $8). The real scam, though is the ordering process. First you enter your shipping and credit card info. Then there is a deceptive page that, if you click it, doubles your order to 8 units with quadruple S&H; it doesn't make any reference to the increased order or the price increase. The next page offers and extended warranty for $5, which I was thankfully able to figure out and avoid. I clicked the "No Thanks" button, and the next thing screen thanked me for placing my order! There was never a chance to review my order or reconsider. I wanted 2 devices for $16, I'd placed an order for 8 for $56. I got an almost immediate e-mail confirmation of my order, but the customer service web site has no record of my order and the phone service line is only staffed on weekdays.
