While going Christmas shopping with my 1 year old in the WalMart in Kennett Square, PA I was approached by two college students who said they were selling magazines to win a school trip. I purchased a subscription to a children’s magazine called Turtle for my daughter. The next day I looked up the children’s magazine and saw it on online for half the price so I decided to cancel the subscription. The back of the receipt said to cancel sign the receipt that you would like to cancel, mail it to the address given and a refund would be sent within 10 days. I did this but no refund ever came so I went online and started researching the company and found multiple complaints that it was a scam. It is horrible that in such hard economic times someone had no remorse over ripping over a single mother.
