On Dec. 29, 2011, WeHaul Moving picked up my sister's household goods and promised delivery between Jan. 2nd and 14th. Today is January 20th, and we have been told lies since the 14th when my sister inquired about a deliver date. Their names are:
Charlene & Walter Collins


Their dispatcher, Angel, has lied to my sister repeatedly by saying the truck broke down, I don't know where your shiment is, your household goods are in South Carolina, etc. etc. After 5 days of these excuses, my sister finds out that the shipment is still in New York - they are now saying the truck left 1/19 and broke down again and the shipment was brought back to New York.
My brother-in-law, Walter Collins, is wheelchair bound and his favorite wheelchair is in that shipment. They are using a borrowed chair to get them around. I, Virginia Wotherspoon, made contact with their headquarters (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) by way of email and said that this is totally unacceptable and that if the truck "did break down", why wasn't another truck brought in to make delivery? Could you please see if you can find out anything better than the run-around they are giving my sister. I feel terrible for them and their current situation living with only 4 days of clothing on their backs and little to nothing in their house except what I have lent to them to get them through this terrible unnecessary wait for their personal belongings.

WeHaul Moving has said they will compensate my sister at the amount of $30.00/day past the contracted date of 1/14/12.
