I was working online and kept getting a pop up window saying my computer was infected and I needed to update my security immediately. So, I updated what I thought was my security for Windows 7. Several days later I was working and got another pop up saying I needed to activate my licence (sic) for an additional fee. The misspelling caught my eye and, as I looked over the site more closely I found 2 more misspellings. My alarm bells started going off, I immediately exited the site and contacted Microsoft Security Essentials. The Win 7 Security is not only a scam, it is termed a computer infection that works more slowly than a virus at first then it just takes off.

The name that showed up on my credit card billing was Grizl-Antivirus.com, no reference to Win 7 Security 2012.

I contacted my credit card company and they are very familiar with the Win 7 Security pop up security alert. My credit is in process. Beware!!
