My mortgage company at the the time of the switch was the associate financial company, located in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana. Later, I found out this company offering the mortgage loan had been forced to close suddenly and they were later sued by the U.S. Federal Gov't of California. I tried locating info about my home, however nothing prevailed until 2003; when I received a letter sent to my then home address provided to the u.s. post office in 2002. The letter was from the company Citi Financial appologizing for the error regarding the account no., I contacted them immediately. I then made contact, spoke to a representative, said a letter would be sent regarding the matter. The mail did not arrive after 1 week, I then immediately called back, the same rep responded to the call. Then to be suddenly interrupted by another rep who seem to be somewhat irritated, said he would send mail regarding matter. I received not anything other than that for which I had received previously, the exact same letter.
