Replied to advertisement 15/12/11(attached to Daily Mail web site)for products samples advertised for £2.95 & £2.97 I duly paid by Mastercard credit card.
Received credit card statement 9/01/12 to find that a further 2 payments had been taken from my account on 29/12/11 for £74.95 & 1/01/12 £79.99 with out my knowledge or authorization
Reported to Natwest card customer service of this transaction and await their formal documents to confirm this.
Checking the web sites for this scam it appears that I am one of many to be duped.
How is it that they can take money from your credit card on further dates other than when the original transaction was completed?
