My sons computer had a virus warning pop up and wouldn't let him get on the web or anything. He told me a warning kept coming up so when I looked af it the only option was to download a virus protector that was 59.99. I paid for it and after that his computer worked for a about 2 weeks and now he cant get onto it all. My account was charged by microcloud.com for $60.43 that now I'm finding out wad a rip off. I want my money back now!!!!

  • Where should I begin... Viruses don't just pop up. User action is usually always involved caused by either ignorance, impatience or a deliberate disregard for the most basic of Internet rules.
    1. If you don't know what it is... Don't click on it
    2. If you weren't expecting it... Don't click on it
    3. Always go to the source... Shortcuts are dangerous
    4. If it sounds too good to be true... Someone will probably take your first born
    5. If you must install something read every screen carefully, except the eula / licence agreement, if you're not willing to agree to it you can't have it anyway. Each screen in a setup Wizard is a potential antiviral, spyware, malware, cleaning, performance enhancing, toolbar, quick access amazing super program you just can't live without all written in double negative. Look at every tick box, read what it's for, read every next / ok box option, make sure it says next and not I agree

Frankly, for what you and your son have learned... It was worth around $60.43.

I would charge a lot more to teach people the lesson you've learned. Be cautious online. The internet is a free and open market where children and the ignorant must learn to defend themselves. You will not be hand held or coddled for tripping up. You will be laughed at and ridiculed.

    You're welcome
