I purchased the "Wonder Years Complete Series on DVD" from Dazzle DVD. The series cost $39.00 with $8.50 for shipping and another $3.80 for tax, totaling $51.30. On my bank statement, the money was taken out by "Memory Lane," which is associated with Dazzle DVD somehow. The website seemed legitimate and there was an option to purchase with PayPal. It even had a "contact us" and "FAQ" section in which it promised a full refund if not satisfied and guaranteed they would ship the product in 5 to 7 business days. I made this purchase on December 27th, 2011 and received two confirmation emails. When my product didn't arrive as expected, I emailed [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] (these were the three email addresses that had appeared in my confirmation emails). I also tried sending a message through the "contact us" section of their website. I sent these emails inquiring about my orders on January 9, 2012. On their website, it says they will respond the next business day to emails. It has been two days and I have yet to hear from them. I am pretty sure I just got taken by this "company." It's sad to me that there are such shady people in this world that would scam innocent people like this, but sadly it's true. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM DAZZLE DVD! Please let me know if you've had a similar experience or have suggestions as to what I can do to fix this situation!

  • The DVDs eventually made it to my house and I received a response to my inquiries eventually (a couple of weeks later) that they were on their way. Hoewever, most of the DVDs were too frustrating to watch, as the voice and movement were not lined up properly (this happened in at least 80% of the discs). Needless to say, I don't plan on watching the DVDs ever again. I never contacted them about the issue because I didn't know if I would ever even get a response. Just recently I was contacted by Debbie from their company (after she saw the above post) and she offered me a $25 dollar refund (albeit nearly 9 months after I posted the above complaint). I accepted the $25 dollar refund because I cannot ship back the original discs as I threw them out - they were unwatchable. So I guess all-in-all, this company is REALLLLLY slow to get back to you, but willing to work with you somewhat.
