Received in the mail a cashiers check in the amount of $2250.00. Letter stating to shop at Walmart, Kmart and BestBuy, then to send x-amount of money via western union. I DID NOT cash this check because I am aware of similiar scams like this. I immediately looked up on the internet this company name and found scam alerts all over it. I tried phoneing the number on the letter and of course the number was no longer in service. I had a scam similiar tothis but happened to me when I was selling a high dollar itm on ebay. Thankfully it turned out good as I had all documents and didn't back down from my bank and they ended up taking the hit (their insurance), but there are a lot of people that will back down pay the "bank" back. NOT ME, they have insurance and that is what it is for. I wanted to put this out there just to get more word out that I am in northern Mi, and this is being generated.
