So I was at a gas station in Miami, FL on 88th and 137 ave. I was approached by two middle aged men wearing a uniform shirt that said Mclaren Technologies. they where in a grey SUV, it could have been a Chevy Tahoe I'm not to sure. Anyway one of the men asked hey you wanna buy a home theater system. I told him no I was trying to get out of it. He said "well I need to deliver the speakers and we got an extra set from shipment, these things are worth $2000 and if I don't sell it just ganna go to my boss. My buddy wants to sell it for $600." I told hell no I can't afford it. He' immediate followed by saying "well I told him there no way someone can take out that amount on the street. So I'll let you set a price and we can negotiate. I told him $50 and he like man how about $200. I told I can't and I went off to stop the gas pump. He said okay $150 and they're yours. I had my Iphone and I went to the website Mclarentechonolies.com. It turns how they DO have a website and a product page and the product he showed me DID cost $1999.00. So I thought okay I take them and I can sell it online for extra money. So I I went to the bank took out my money for 160 and I asked if he has a ten dollar bill. He said no and I figured okay whatever 10 extra dollars. So we did the exchange. Later on my day I opened the box to see if was legit. They whole thing is old school wiring. Not even RCA can go in these things. So I hooked up one of the speakers and it sounded terrible. Now I google the company and found out that it was A HUGE SCAM! Apparently this has been happening EVERYWHERE for the last 6 years! It even in Wikipedia! How can this scammers go on for so long! I want these guys and this fake company to go down.
