i met a man on match.com pretending to be a white male from Canada, living in Texas but working in Lagos, Nigeria, a contractor. When asked he told me the reason he went on match.com was for the three day free trial period. this way he didn't have to spend any "real" money from his own pocket. He said his name was David Wofford from Canada with a 9 year old son and ex wife living in Texas. Within 2 weeks he was asking for money to return to the U.S. for Christmas. He communicated with me through Yahoo IM (dwolfordtxman) yes he even misspelled the name in his Yahoo account. His email address is [email protected]. He used a very handsome man's picture on the match.com website. After the initial $350.00 he continued asking for more money. I refused and told him I would report him to the FBI. He continued contacting me through email and by phone for several days. He wasn't very good keeping up with his lies, he had every excuse why he couldn't produce a picture of his ID, passport, etc..
