Was on the AYI dating site on Facebook and communicating with Edwin Scott, or I was told that is who he was, SSGT in Special Ops Army on peacekeeping mission in Afghaniston. Kept dropping legit info about where he was from (searched Edwin Scott in Houstin Texas who is military and on LinkedIn). Said I needed to purchase a securephone to talk to him so I sent money to the military address "usmilitaryonpeacekeeping", to a Major Franklin Moore. He is still using "[email protected]" email and using yahoo messenger service as well. But when I ask for a refund and the money back...I don't get a reply and he acts like he doesn't know who I am, yet before Christmas he wanted to "get married". The usmilitaryonpeacekeeping site does not respond to my requests for refund either.

The name and place of the Western Union site the $ were sent to is as follows:

Tafa olusegun Idowu
Deira Abu Dhabi
Dubai, United Arab Emirate MTCN 576-280-6605

I spend $2377.60 Cdn to purchase a phone I never received and don't know what to do next.

I have copies of emails/Western Union transaction/etc.

Please advise, Cynthia Crothers
