I bought a motorcycle from an ebay seller with a 100% ebay rating, the motorcycle was in MO. I live in NM. I couldn't check the bike out because I live 1200 mi., talked to the seller, Royal Gates Dodge dealership and the salesman assured me no problems. When I had the bike shipped to a friend in Ill. found out about an oil leak, cost to fix, 1429.00. Ebay said the bike was too old but the bike only had 10,640 mi. on it. Talked to the dealership and they offered me $300, I ask for $500 and they refused so now I am stuck with a $1429 bill to get the bike fixed. Don't buy anything from ebay. I have been ripped before but never complained because it was $20 or $30 but this time I was, well you know what I was. Have heard similar stories. The bill for fixing was fair and I thought 1/3 of them paying for the repair was fair and as far as ebay goes, you can gues where I stand on buying anything else on that supposedly wonderful site. Thank you, just had to vent, when you're 65 and get ripped by a seller and ebay kinda gets to ya.
