I subscribed to SimplyAudiobooks.com in 2010 for a 2 book-a-time CD subscription. In the past few months I received 1-2 books a month instead of 2 at a time for $26.98/month despite keeping my list above the 15 title suggested minimum. I usually kept 20-25 titles on list. I had experienced some irritating problems in the past with unreadable media but telephone customer service had been helpful with reserving a replacement or sending next title on my list (or both). Starting circa mid-October 2011 and ending today, Simply Audiobooks didn't seem to keep enough inventory to support this subscriber's needs - so for the past 3-ish months, continuing to pay for the CD subscription was just a waste of money. And who can afford to throw money away? I can't!!! Subscription Cancelled on 01/02/2012.
Selling a subscription CD audiobook rental service without maintaining enough inventory to fulfill obligations to subscribers is a SCAM!
