Called to activate credit card from an account I already had - the activation phone number was answered by Assist 123. Offered me a $100 shopping voucher for a mailing fee of $3.95. Sounded suspicious that I would have to pay anything to get money. Asked many question of phone rep, she answered most but said it was only her second week and I could speak to a supervisor. Supervisor came on and quickly tried to get my mailing address to finish the transaction. I asked more questions about how the voucher could be used and if I was signing up for a service and details about that, and actually considered accepting the voucher but went to get a different card to put the transaction fee on. Fortunately my other cards were by my computer, I was connected to the internet, and searched "Assist 123 scams" quickly. Many instances came up. I went back to the phone to tell the manager I'd changed my mind, but he must have been psychic and was gone.

This SCAM is being run from overseas from a Call Center called 3MNetworks, and they also go by motivatedmindstoday.com. The person in the center that you should contact is Mike Solano in Lima Peru. If you would like to contact him, his information is as follows:
