I applied on-line to Mystery Shop and the site was a scam. Watch out for Shopping Data Inc. they will steal your information. They are supposedly out of Canada. No Mystery shopping companies pay in advance. Far from it, they are like pulling teeth to get paid. Most want direct deposit now. Don't give information on-line!
They sent me a letter with the $1980 check with $180 for me and the rest to shop drawn on Amegy Bank NA of Porter, TX on Vaughn Construction. Don't deposit it!!!!!!!!! That bank does not give out any acct. information so they can scam you longer. They will get your acct. info. The phone number is for 888-400-1580 and the assignment coordinator was Carol Spivey at ext 205. I heard a little kid crying in the background when she answered after I tried it 3-times on different days.

- This happened to me but unfortunately I did what they said and now I am out over $1800 that I owe the bank. Any suggestions on what to do????/ :(
