Tried to call Aetna insuranse for home delivery of prescription drugs, and assist 123 answered. Not sure if I dialed correctly or not. They told me that the number I was calling was disconnected, but that they would get me the correct number. (I was skepical because I got the number from a publication that I had just received.) But in the meantime, they had this offer for me of $100 gift certificate that I could use at 800 different retailers such as Walmart, Target, etc. I said I was not interrested, would they just please give me the number. Yes, I will get that number for you, but this is a really good deal. I told them that I already had more money than I could ever live long enough to use, please just give me the "freakin" number!
The woman finally after several similar exchanges gave me a number which was again for a $100 rebate on something. I just hung up called the number that I had originally called and did get through to Aetna insurance. How do they intercept these calls?
