I bought the bids earlier than today, but I now see that this has to be a scam. I've bid, clock runs out several different times only to have someone else make a bid 5 seconds later. One time it was about 20 seconds later. You figure that when they sell an item for $100.00, that's 10,000 bids times $.50 per bid, they are making $5,000 on an item that sells for a few hundred dollars. Of course, I can always buy the item for much more than it costs at other places online! What a scam.
