I was looking for a lender to help with a debt consolidation loan, i was contacted by a representative claiming to work for stoneham refferals, she stated that she had found a lender and would email me the loan documents to look over. she said that because of my credit she would need to have a security payment of 1211 dollars and the money would be wired to my account the next business date. She called back the next day and said that the lenders did some additional checking into my credit report and word need 700 dollars more. I was trying to get out of debt so I made the payments, the money never reached my account. When I called she said that it was coming from an offshore account and the bank would not be able to accept it until 7-10 business days. I never heard from them again, I called the number and it has beed disconnected.
